The big challenge was to get the rich content presented in a neat and user-friendly way. We also worked here with an external agency that structured the content and created a design we built the site on. The site also uses many parallel effects with different backgrounds moving in different directions. This, in turn, demanded that the mobile version be changed significantly in its locations.
We used YoothemePro as usual, but many features and design elements meant that we had to build our own solutions.
The site also required a strong and secure server ....
To run this project, we installed a web server on CentOS - which is our favorite OS! Instead of Apache we run here Nginx which is slightly better when there is a lot of traffic and visitors. PHP 7.3 and the latest MariaDB database provide a stable and reliable foundation.
Of course, the server has a backup to our backup servers so no information can be lost.
The site gave us a great opportunity to try out how flexible we could use Yootheme's framework. The site has a unique layout and we were able to meet all the challenges we received. In order to facilitate similar jobs in the future, we have also started developing our own "Custom Elements" for Yootheme that we can reuse and which we also sell on our plugin page JoomlaPro.com
